You might be wondering what cats like the best. Well, from my experience the top three things that cats like the best are petting, treats, and play. But which one your cat likes is going to be different. For petting, think about the favorite places that most cats like. Right along the head, right along the cheeks, and for some cats right at the base of the tail. For treats, some cats like treats that are hard, some like treats that are soft, and some really like human foods best.
Explore what your cat’s favorites are and then use three or four of those as your rewards or things during play. Once you’ve figured those out, you can find out what your cat’s play style is.
Does he like to hunt for things, does he like to hunt for things alone, does he like to play games with you?
