I love seeing more and more cat product companies taking into account that their products do not just have to please cats, they also have to make the human happy. Because let’s face it, if you relegate that ugly piece of cat furniture into a part of your home that you rarely use, chances are your cat isn’t going to use it, either.
Tuft + Paw is taking modern design for cats to a whole new level. Their mission, “to provide comfort and delight for cats and humans,” is reflected in every single one of their products. We previously reviewed their Puff bed, and I was delighted when they sent us another one of their beds. I had a feeling Allegra would love the Nuzzle.
Nuzzle Modern Cat Bed features
This super soft faux fur bed is generously sized at 22 inches across and 7 inches high. It is made from molded foam, so it will hold its shape nicely. An ultrasuede base prevents the bed from sliding on hard surfaces.
For light cleaning, simply shake out the bed or vacuum. It can be machine washed on gentle cycle and hung to dry.
The lovely grey color will blend in with any decor.
Putting the Nuzzle to the test
The Nuzzle was an instant hit with Allegra. Within seconds of me putting it on the floor, she climbed in and proceeded to make biscuits.
The bed is incredibly soft – almost as soft as Allegra’s fur 🙂 The foam bolster is firm, and will hold its shape well.
This bed is probably best for cats who like to sleep curled up, although the bolster is low enough that it would work even for cats who like to stretch out a bit more.
Allegra is in love with this bed! She’s been practically spending all her daytime sleeping hours in it. (That’s the Assisi Loop Lounge under the bed.)
This is one of the best made beds I’ve seen, and since it’s such a huge hit with Allegra, we’re giving it our Seal of Approval.
