This family has shared a rather special history together, that I’d like to recap for those that don’t know the story, but for all of us to remember how far this little family has come.
Both mum and dad, Lucy (7 years) and Conrad (4 years) were a backyard breeding pair, surrendered after they were no longer needed.
Lucy unknowingly pregnant with her very last litter (sadly she had already had 6 previously), she came to live at the farm after the shelter, and within just days gave birth to 3 little pups; Banjo, Matilda and tiny little Rosie.
Whilst Lucy nursed her pups over the next two and months, Conrad underwent training and socialisation to overcome his anti social issues.
During this time, both Conrad and Lucy were adopted into loving homes. Lucy with Adam, a staff member at the farm and Conrad to a family local in the valley.
Our family here at the farm adopted the 3 puppies and so the entire family can continue to live out their lives in touch with each other, reuniting regularly at the farm.
Today we wanted to take some family photos to memorialise where they’ve come from and the bright future they have before them. Next year the pups will be huge, and not so little anymore.
But we will have these photos to look back on and remember how special this time was for them.
Hope you enjoy 🧡
