DENVER/October 6, 2021 – New ideas are needed more than ever and through a collaboration with the producers of TEDxMileHigh, Morris Animal Foundation will be sharing innovative ideas focused on the science of animal health. The first three of 12 free, virtual talks are scheduled for Oct. 13, 20, and 27 and highlight saving shelter cats, protecting dogs from environmental toxins, and arthritis in our pets.

When Dr. Kate Hurley first started working as an animal control officer, only 1 in 4 cats would make it out of the shelter alive. Why were SO many cats dying, and how can we prevent this? In this fascinating, surprising and victorious story, Kate takes you on her decades-long mission to save cats. If you’re a cat owner, you just might learn some surprising facts about your OWN feline friend along the way.
