Who doesn’t love watching cat videos? We cat fans sure adore looking up felines on YouTube. In fact, studies have even shown that watching cat videos is good for your health!

But some people go a little overboard and create cat videos that are so ridiculous, they should probably be given an award show category all their own.

Here are five especially silly YouTube cat videos that you absolutely have to see.

1. 100 Ways To Love A Cat

Warning: Once you watch this video, the song will be stuck in your head all day long.

This video is 35 minutes long and features a catchy tune that croons “There are 100 ways to love a cat, 100 loving ways.” It has literally 100 ways you can love your cat.

They include “Way 1: Keep a Tidy House for Them,” “Way 20: Take Their Picture,” “Way 57: Dress Them Up in Ribbons,” and “Way 61: When they scratch you, don’t get angry!”

2. Cat Meowing For 12 Hours

Not kidding about the title of this one. This is a YouTube video that features twelve hours of non-stop cat meowing, with a few purrs thrown in.

There aren’t even videos of cats on this one. Just a picture of a kitten along with twelve hours of cat sounds.

According to YouTube comments, people like to use the video to confuse their own cats or dogs.

3. Ten Hour Meow Mix

It’s a cat rave! For ten hours!

This video was originally made elsewhere, and then an enterprising YouTube user decided to extend it for a grand ten hours. This means that if you’re having people over for a party, you can play this video in the background the entire time.

You really do need to watch the video because it’s a work of art, complete with a cat shooting lasers that release a cloud of cat treats onto a crowd of partying kittens.

4. What Does The Cat Say?

Do you remember the popular video, “What Does the Fox Say?” Well, this enterprising group made a parody called “What Does the Cat Say?”

The video is pretty funny and currently stands at over eleven million views, although the original was pretty great itself.

5. Epic Video Of A Cat Blinking

This video actually goes along with a story that was posted on The Verge. Apparently, the writer’s phone started making cat videos all on its own.

Confusing even after you’ve read the story, the video is a lot more confusing if you just stumble on it randomly on YouTube.

The epic music accompanies a not-so-epic video and photo of a cat, repeated over and over. Despite its simplicity, it’s quite captivating.
