Today’s post about Assisi Animal Health is a bit of a departure from what I usually cover: the innumerable benefits cats derive from using the Assisi Loop or Loop Lounge. From cats with arthritis, kidney disease, recovery from injuries and many inflammatory conditions such as cystitis, stomatitis and more, the success stories we’ve featured have been remarkable and sometimes nothing short of miraculous.

The folks at Assisi Animal Health are passionate about keeping your cats healthy and pain-free and about educating both cat parents and veterinary professionals about a variety of topics. To that end, they have introduced a series of webinars. All webinars are free, but you must register.

Webbies for Pet Owners and Shelters

Featuring renowned veterinarians  and animal health experts, the webinars for pet owners and shelters cover topics such as how to help your cats stay healthy as they age, how to prevent feline obesity through environmental enrichment, and how to recognize pain in shelter animals. A particular timely topic is Ernie Ward, DVM’s seminar The New Virtual Vet Visit: What to Expect, What to Do, and How to Make it Less Stressful.

Webinars for Veterinarians, Technicians and Nurses

Topics for veterinary professionals include treating senior feline patients, pain management, and post operative recovery. Some of the webinars are approved for RACE CE credit.

How does the Assisi Loop work?

The Assisi Loop features targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (tPEMF™). This modality was first studied in the 1970s and is FDA-cleared for use in humans. It uses low-level pulses of electromagnetic energy to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms to help relieve pain and swelling. For a detailed explanation of the technology, please visit the Assisi Animal Health website.

Assisi Animal Health found that this technology works especially well on feline arthritis. It is a non-pharmaceutical, non-invasive treatment. Cats tolerate it much better than many medications. Not only that, but a lot of cats really enjoy receiving Loop treatments. Because the Loop stimulates the body’s own healing process, rather than introducing a new substance (like a medication), even a sensitive cat body can handle it easily.

Proven science with positive results

A two-year double blind clinical trial on dogs recovering from spinal surgery at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine showed that the Loop not only reduces pain, but also helps the injured nerve tissue recover faster. This enables the pet to return more quickly to normal function.”
